I am Phaik Luan and I am pleased to meet you here. Please allow me to introduce myself to you.
I was born in Malaysia and graduated from Australia National University in 1990. I studied economics and accounting there and
started my first job in Singapore as an auditor in KPMG.
Although I learned a lot there, it wasn’t quite my cup of tea and after a few other positions in accounting work, I decided to take a bold step and joined the Financial Planning field.
What I like about Financial Planning is that it affects and influence the future. Making the right decisions now will make a great difference to our lives. It also gives me the opportunity to meet a great variety of people from different walks of life but most importantly I finally found a place where all my financial education and experience can be used to help others better their financial situation.
I have been in this field since 1997 when I joined Prudential and subsequently moved to IPP Financial Advisers Pte Ltd as I felt that this platform provides the best solutions for my clients. I realized
too that people will have differences of opinion and although I do have my own view, I will respect yours as well. I do hope I can be of help to you through the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years. It gives me great satisfaction to see families protected, their needs met and in times of their greatest financial need, they have a solution already in place to take care of it. The best reward for me has been to see others have the finances they need for their medical bills and being able to remain financially healthy despite any crisis situations they may face. I have much still to learn and perhaps we could journey together and learn from each other.
